SES was established by Peter Smyth in 2016, primarily to provide a service of mechanical engineering design to meet the demands of the engineering sector in Northern Ireland and abroad.

From a construction background, Peter’s qualifications as a 2001 graduate of Queens University Belfast, school of Mechanical Engineering provided the platform necessary to gain knowledge in the design and manufacturing principles of static crushing, screening and material conveying equipment.

This experience, coupled with several years as a Caterpillar Product Engineer for the UK & Ireland Dealer, providing Tier4 Engine Emission compliance products to a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers in the mobile crushing, screening and recycling sectors, based in Northern Ireland.

This has contributed to many years of valuable experience to the point where a solid basis of knowledge and expertise has been laid to provide your business with the necessary equipment for successful growth and development.
